This exhilarating exhibition is a combination of abstract painting, glass and sculpture with that of still life. It demonstrates that while issues of abstraction concerning form, texture and pictorial function are fundamentally different than the traditional concerns of still life painting. If still life is removed from the conventional two-dimensional device of illusion and presented entirely three-dimensionally then there arises a commonality of interest that is as revealing as it is illuminating.
